Feeding the Choctaws tradition, one young athlete at a time.
Dyer County Youth Athletic Association is a Tennessee nonprofit dedicated to providing youth athletic programs — football, cheerleading, and more — to the kids of Dyer County and the surrounding communities. We exist to foster character, sportsmanship, physical fitness, teamwork, and community engagement in every athlete who steps on the field.
We are the program that feeds the Choctaws tradition. Future varsity athletes start here.
Our promise
DCYAA was built on a set of non-negotiable principles. They are not slogans. They are how this organization operates, every day, without exception.
- No officer, director, or family member benefits financially. The benefit of this organization is to the children it serves. Full stop.
- All financial activity is publicly disclosed monthly. Weekly updates on our Facebook page. Monthly summaries posted here.
- Every expense requires two authorized people to approve. No single person can move money alone.
- Every coach is background-checked. No exceptions.
- Every coach is certified in CPR, First Aid, and the safety standards for the sport they coach — USA Football Heads Up for football coaches, USA Cheer Youth Safety for cheerleading coaches.
- Every athlete has a current sports physical on file before they participate.
- All equipment meets or exceeds upcoming 2027 safety regulations.
We operate this way because the families of Dyer County deserve a youth athletic organization they can trust. Period.
