Three Oaks Junior Football
Where Dyer County’s next generation of Choctaws learn the game — safely, fairly, and with alot of hard work!
2026 Season Rosters
We operate three teams for the 2026 season, organized by grade level.
- 2nd / 3rd Grade Combined Squad — 32 signed up.
- 4th Grade — 16 Signed up
- 5th Grade — 13 Signed up. Spots open. We are actively recruiting to meet our 18-athlete minimum target so every kid has subs available and nobody is playing Ironman through exhaustion. If your 5th grader is interested, contact us.
Coaching Philosophy
The developmental squad model means we don’t cut anyone. We teach. The 2nd graders practice with the 3rd grade team, learn the scheme, drill safe tackling, and possibly earn their game-day spots through demonstrated readiness — not age. We will also work with other programs to get our youngest players game time after regularly scheduled 3rd grade games when possible. This is consistent with other teams in the area.
Safety Standards
Every Three Oaks Junior Football coach on the field has, before the first whistle:
- USA Football Heads Up Tackle Certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- NFHS Concussion training
- NFHS Heat Illness Awareness training (especially important for Tennessee summers)
- A completed background check
All helmets, shoulder pads, and practice gear meet or exceed the upcoming 2027 youth football safety regulations.
Ready to play?
Registration for the 2026 season is open. 5th grade in particular needs additional athletes — if you know a 5th grader who wants to play, this is the time.
